You are proud of your lawn mower.
You send money to PBS.
You no longer think speed limits are a challenge.
You wear black socks with sandals.
You consider coffee one of the most important things in life.
Your arms are almost too short to read the newspaper.
You can go bowling without drinking.
You buy a compass for the dash of your car.
Your best friend is dating someone half their age and isn't breaking any laws.
You got cable for the weather channel.
You quit trying to hold your stomach in no matter who walks into the room.
You know what the word "equity" means.
You get into a heated argument about pension plans.
The end of your tie doesn't come anywhere near the top of your pants.
Your ears are hairier than your head.
People call at 9 p.m. and ask, "Did I wake you?"
You can sing along with elevator music.
You can't remember the last time you laid on the floor to watch tv.
You answer a question with, "Because I said so!"

Aging Tips
Forget the health food.
You need all the preservatives you can get.
You need all the preservatives you can get.
God grant me the senility to forget
the people I never liked anyway...
the people I never liked anyway...
The good fortune to run into the ones I do...
And the eyesight to tell the difference!
Age is an issue of mind over matter.
If you don't mind, ...it doesn't matter.
If you don't mind, ...it doesn't matter.
I am sitting here thinking how nice it is
that wrinkles don't hurt.
that wrinkles don't hurt.
I would have taken better care of myself when I was young.
If you laugh a lot, when you get older
your wrinkles will be in the right places.

Today I Smiled
Today I smiled, and all at once
Things didn't look so bad.
Today I shared with someone else,
A little bit of hope I had.
Things didn't look so bad.
Today I shared with someone else,
A little bit of hope I had.
Today I worked with what I had,
And longed for nothing more,
And what had seemed like only weeds,
Were flowers at my door.
And longed for nothing more,
And what had seemed like only weeds,
Were flowers at my door.
Today I loved a little more,
And complained a little less.
And in the giving of myself,
I forgot my weariness.

DIY Getting Rid Of Roaches Naturally
Roaches are never welcome guests, but that doesn't need you need to coat
your home in pricey chemicals to get rid of them. Here's a homemade
roach killer that will get the job done:
2) Store any unused portions in an air-tight container to maintain freshness, and be sure to label it
3) It may be a couple of weeks before you notice a decline in the population
2) Borax loses some of its effectiveness when it gets wet

What You Need:
- Borax
- Sugar (granulated or powdered)
What You Do:
Mix borax and sugar together in equal parts. Then, apply it along the baseboards, in cracks, under cabinets, under the sink and anywhere else you've seen roaches.
Reapply as needed until all bugs are gone.
Why This Works:
Roaches consume the mixture because they are attracted to the sugar. Once consumed, the borax damages both their digestive system and their outer skeleton, resulting in death. This works very much like the boric acid found in commerical products, but costs much less.Benefits of Using Borax to Kill Roaches

1) Borax (20 Mule Team Borax) can be found in the laundry aisle at the store, since it is most commonly used as a laundry booster2) Store any unused portions in an air-tight container to maintain freshness, and be sure to label it
