Located at the northeast corner of Cordes and Dogwood Roads in
Germantown, the Cordes Mansion was razed in April 2007 for a subdivision
that was killed by the recession. These photos were taken about a week
before demolition. Built to a Spanish Colonial design, the Cordes
Mansion was likely constructed in the 1930s or 40s, making it one of the
oldest structures in this part of Germantown.
